The holiday season is upon us and for those who have lost a loved one; it is not an easy time of year. For those grieving, what used to be a joyous, festive and happy time is now extremely straining and it is very difficult to get into the “mood” of Christmas. That’s why this November, Wheatland Memorial Healthcare Foundation will hold a Tree of Remembrance Service for those close to us who have passed away or can’t be with us this season.
Each year people dedicate a light in memory of someone who has passed away or can’t be with us. Wheatland Memorial Healthcare would like to invite you to join us and help touch the lives of our patients and their families with a gift to the sixth annual Tree of Remembrance campaign. Gifts to the Tree of Remembrance campaign will go toward Vein Illuminator for the Emergency Department, and every gift makes a difference! For those making a contribution of $25 a white light representing a loved one, will be placed on the tree. A $15 donation will have a blue light and red light will be lit for a $10 donation.
This years’ service will take place on Thursday, the 30th of November at 6:30 p.m. Please join us here at the hospital for a special service, a reading of the names and the lighting of the tree. Refreshments and cookies will be served afterward.
On behalf of the patients and the families we serve, we extend our appreciation for your consideration and generous support. All contributions are tax deductible. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 406-632-3176. Best Wishes for a joyous holiday season!
